TPSM828512: About loop plot simulation

Part Number: TPSM828512
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPSM8287A06, TPSM82813, TPSM82866A, TPSM82823, , TPSM82816, TPSM828302

Hi team,

Our customer is considering below module for Vin=5V to OUT=1.0V~1.8V/1~2A power supply. And they want to know about if there is simulation model for AC analysis.

① TPSM8287A06

  TPSM82813/6

③ TPSM82866A

  TPSM82823

⑤ TPSM828512

Are there some way of Bode plot simulate in these devices? I could find only WEBENCH sim of TPSM82816 and TPSM8287A06, and Pspice transient model only.

Best regards,

teritama

  • Hi Teritama,

I think for the operating conditions of Vin=5V to OUT=1.0V~1.8V/1~2A, TPSM828302/3 or TPSM828512 will be the right options. We don't have an AC model for TPSM828512.

Is the customer able to simulate with SIMPLIS? We have a SIMPLIS model for the TPSM828302/3. AC sims can be run on this model.

    Best regards,

    Varun

  • Hi Varun,

    Thank you for reply.

The customer wants SS adjustable product. So they are considering with TPSM82816 and TPSM82813 too.
Include these device, do you have any plan to release AC sims model with PSpice in the future?

    >Is the customer able to simulate with SIMPLIS? We have a SIMPLIS model for the TPSM828302/3. AC sims can be run on this model.

⇒They use PSpice only so they can't use the tool, but the information is helpful for us. Is it only TPSM8302/3 that you have a SIMPLIS model? And if we want SIMPLIS model, is it okey that request these model on E2E?

    Best regards,

    teritama

  • Hi Teritama,

We don't have an AC sim model for the TPSM82816 and TPSM82813.

We release SIMPLIS in addition to PSPICE for our new devices. For the TPSM828302/3, the models will be released on the product page soon.

If you don't find a model for a particular part, you could check here on E2E if we happen to have one internally.

    Best regards,

    Varun
