DCPA10515D: Isolated converter

Part Number: DCPA10515D

Hello,

In the one product, we have a BM2PAB1Y-Z as a non-isolated converter. At the moment we want to replace it with one isolated converter. The important feature of this IC is a built-in startup circuit that tolerates 650 V. How can I find a good replacement for it with the TI products?

Thank you in advance.

Best regards,

Leila

  • Hi Leila,

Thank you for reaching out.  Could you share more info about your operating conditions for the isolated converter, like Vin, Vout and load current?  Then we can see if DCPA or  another TI device can support.

    Thanks,

    Youhao

  • Hello,

Thank you for your quick reply.

The output is  20V non-isolated from inputs( from 90 Vac to 650 Vac), with an output maximum current of 0.5 A. The input voltage after the full_rectifire is applied to the drain pin of this IC( like the photo in the datasheet ).

    Best regards,

    Leila

  • Hi Leila,

You are welcome.  I am afraid we don't have device with 650V rated FET integrated.  For your isolated solution, you may consider to use TI's flyback device with external FET.  If you would like to proceed, I can direct this thread to the right product line of TI.

    Thanks,

    Youhao
