Hi John,

What you downloaded is the .srec, which contains the FW and .gg it can be uploaded to the BQ34z100 via its I2C pins. Are you requesting if we have any example code on how to send I2C transactions?

Hi Evan,

I find the I2C a little confusing so I was just looking for source code.  I'm also using the BQ76952 which you have source code for the STM32 and MSP430 (SLUC701) so I was looking for something similar.  I'm not using either of those processors but once I understand the I2C, it will be a simple port.  

Also, in the Tech Manual, (SLUUC05A) Figure 4 shows an "Attempt to Write a Read Only....." and I just don't see a NAK. Maybe an error in the manual?

Hi Evan,

I'm wrapping my head around the I2C so I don't think I need code examples.  One question I have is how do you write to the Control Registers, for example the RESET subcommand (0x0041) or the CONTROL_STATUS (0x0000)?  There isn't an example in the I2C document.  

I'm also assuming that if I read two bytes from the SOC command code (0x02), I will read both SOC and ME then I just have to bit mask the return to get the SOC.

Unfortunately, we do not have example code similar to the MSP430.

To send a reset CMD write 41 00 to 12c addr AA, reg addr 00.
