TPS3899: Background for setting the reset asserting: 2.93V

Guru 19565 points
Part Number: TPS3899

The datasheet specifies Reset Asserting as 2.93V, but no matter how I calculate it, I cannot arrive at this value.

Please let me know the other voltage conditions when it is set to 2.93V.

Or am I guessing that VHYS: 25.5mV is rounded up to 30mV and added to 2.9V, correct?

Please let me know if there have any other correct reason.

Best regards,

Satoshi

  • Hello Satoshi-san,

What orderable number of the TPS3899 are you using? The adjustable TPS3899DL01 orderable is used in that datasheet example and there is a resistor divider on the sense input that sets the threshold voltage to roughly 2.9V. Using different resistor values will get the threshold closer to 2.93V.

    Thanks,

    Walter
