TPS552872-Q1:Question about the temperature characteristics of TPS552872-Q1.

Part Number: TPS552872-Q1

  • Hello Jung Jae,

The expert for this device is out of the office until next week. Please expect an answer then.

BTW, you posted your question on the English E2E. I recommend either posting it again on the Chinese E2E or translate it to English for others to understand it.

    Best regards,
    Brigitte

  • Input voltage: 24VDC
    Output voltage: 12VDC/2A

This issue has been resolved, but I have some questions.
The input voltage of PW_EN (EN/UVLO) is configured as a circuit.
However, we confirmed that the PW_EN voltage drops below 1V when the temperature rises to 110 degrees.

So, I solved this problem by lowering the resistance by 10 times and changing it to 10K and 7.5K.
If the SOURCING CURRENT is 4.4~5.6uA, it seems to work fine, but why does this problem occur?

  • Hello Jung Jae,

Is it possible that the voltage drop on the diode increases heavily at this temperature? Normally voltage drop is temperature dependent.

Another possibility is the leakage current of the diodes. Leakage current of Schottky diodes is normally increasing heavily at high temperature.

    Best regards,
    Brigitte
