VIMON and ΔV_out are the same thing.

See Figure 10-15 and note:

1. Vsns = Ibus*Rsns
2. Vsns~=Vset
3. Iset = Vset/Rset=Vsns/Rset
4. IMON = 0.5*Iset

So if RIMON = VIMON/IMON

Then RIMON = (VIMON*Rset*2)/(Ibus*Rsns), or
