UCC25660: Designing feedback pin correct values

Genius 14899 points
Part Number: UCC25660

Hi Experts,

Good day.

We have customer planning to design a half bridge resonant DC/DC converter using your UCC25660 chip for control. Trying to design the feedback section of the controller, however running into problem choosing the correct values. For reference the input of the converter is 80-120V and the output is 300V, 4A.

There is a calcu tool for this device but seems feedback is not included there - https://www.ti.com/tool/download/UCC25660X-CALC

Thank you for your assistance.

Regards,
Archie A.

  • Hello,

Your inquiry is under review and I will get back to you shortly.

  • Hi,

Please refer to datasheet page 7, FB section to design your feedback circuit around the spec. There are so many options to choose here.

I'd recommend to review any of the reference designs and take an example from there.

For Vout > Vin, I'd recommend to use two stage solution unless you are using diodes. First stage is LLC or PSFB, second stage is boost. This is to reduce the cost of your SR FETs,

    Best,

    Ning
