Hello Sir,

can we charge with input of 5v and the is battery of 8.4V Lipo.

if we want to charge with 5V VUSB charger with 1pack (4.2V Lipo) and 2 pack (8.4V Lipo)Cell?

and also, problems which i am facing my output voltage at VBAT is 2.87V only its showing i trying with the Voltage divider with 562K for the 4.2V at out and another case is 1.33M RESISTORs for 8.4V at output charge but my output is showing 2.87V and the if i give the EN pin HIGH the system is getting to drop out at output.

Hi,

The BQ25306 is a buck (step-down) charger, i.e. the VBUS needs to be higher than VBAT. It can't support 5V USB to charge 2-cell battery.

You should use a buck-boost charger. Please submit a new e2e thread to get corresponding support.

Hello Ning,

Can you please suggest that Buck boot charger for 1 cell and 2 cell Li-po Battery pack

because i am using 2 cell pack of 8.4V 5000mAh battery, so Theam is to get the charger for 1 cell and 2 cell battery, kindly suggest me

Hi Tejash,

If your input will always be lower than the battery voltage, you can use a boost charger like BQ25886.

If not, i would recommend BQ25798.

Thank you for your support,

i have requirement of battery charger which has compatible with Li-po battery of 4.2V 5000mAh and also compatible with 8.4v 10000mAh li-po battery,

and my input should be the 5V USB power which we have requirement to charge the battery, so can you please suggest me the Buck Boot Charging IC

Hello Tejash,

The BQ25886 would only work with 2s system, if you need 1-2s then you would need the BQ25798 as Charles suggested.
