I'm building a led driver based on the LM3409HV trying to replicate an aquarium led driver (based on the same IC)
My driver works fine except for the intensity adjustment at low PWM levels.
The original driver has a "moonlight" feature which set the intensity at 1% to have a very dim light during the night.
On my driver the PWM signal is provided by a PCA9685 I2C expander. If I set it to 1% the led brightness is much higher compared to the original driver.
I have a very "big" step from 0% to 1%..
