Hello,

My customer wants to test USB-PD-CHG-EVM-01 after purchasing it.

Q1. There is a USB2ANY Header. What is it for? Is it correct to use the product in the link below?

Q2. If you look at the USB-PD-CHG-EVM-01 bring up video, the Power DUO source board was used. Does the customer have to use this board? Or is it okay if they test it using a regular PD charger?

    Hi JH,

    Regarding Q1, you can directly communicate with the charger using USB2ANY and TI-charger GUI instead of relying on the PD controller being the I2C host.

    Regarding Q2, no.  The EVM can be powered by any USB PD source.
