UCD90160A: Device does not work

Hi Team,

Customers reported that UCD90160A does not work properly. The chip must be in "program mode" to output the enable signal to power on the system normally. It still doesn't work properly after power cycle. Reprogramming the image doesn't help. Do you have any debugging suggestions?

It work. Customer would like to know What causes the device to enter ROM mode? Could you pls comments?

Most likely, it is due to a wrong command sent to force the device into ROM mode.

It is recommend to either enable PEC or having security feature to prevent un-authorized write.

Hi Yihe,

Judging from the screenshots shared by customers before, PEC has been enabled. Since this problem occurred when the customer powered on for the first time after programming the device at the factory, I guessed that noise caused the check sum error. Is this possible? Is it necessary to check the layout?
