TPS65190: TPS652195 LDO2 connect to VDDSHV6 of AM3351

Part Number: TPS65190
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AM3351

Tool/software:

Hi TPS651905 Champ !

We have a team of korean customers who are designing with AM3351 and TPS651905 PMIC.
In the previous version of the custom pcb, they used 3.3V with AM3351 VDDSHV6 domain power supply, and now they are inquiring about PMIC connection to change to 1.8V domain.

The interfaces we will connect to the VDDSHV6 domain are UART0, 1, 2, 4 for connecting the LTE module, and we will also connect 2x GPIO outputs and a few lines for the Pull Up connection.  Please review if there are any issues with connecting the VDDSHV6 to the PMIC LDO2.

=======================================================

In our circuit, the UART0,1,2,4 interfaces of the AM3351 are connected to the LTE module. The UART LEVEL of this LTE module is 1.8V.
To interface, we used to use LEVEL SHIFT in the middle, but we want to remove LEVEL SHIFT to reduce the unit cost.

By my calculations,
LDO2 has an output current of 400mA, and after subtracting VDDS consumption of 50mA and VDDS_RTC consumption of 5mA, LDO2 should be able to provide about 345mA.

The interface they are trying to connect to the VDDSHV6 is shown below.
Please confirm if the VDDSHV6 can be connected to the LDO2 of the PMIC.

-. UART0, 1, 2, 4
-. 2 GPIOs (OUTPUT MODE)
-. Used as PULL UP voltage of other interface signal lines.
