  • Hi Ted,

We don't have any publicly available documentation for these I2C controller events. If you let me know which events you are interested in, I can give you the descriptions.

  • Hi Alex,

Thanks for the response. I would like to know the abbreviations mean like UU/UD, ACE/BDF...etc. I want to make sure my configuration for TUSB1046-DCI for DP alt mode is correct.

    Thanks,

    Ted

  • Hi Ted,

    • UU indicates the connection is an upside-up orientation at the type-C port. UD indicates the connection is an upside-down orientation at the type-C port. This changes when you physically flip the cable plug at the port.
    • A, B, C, D, E, and F are pin assignments for display port. Pin assignments A, B, C, and D are type-C to type-C cables, with A and C being 2 lane display port, and B and D being 4 lane display port. Pin assignments E and F are for type-C to DP cables, with E being for 2 lane display port, and F being for 4 lane display port. One pin assignment is negotiated during DP alt mode entry by the PD controller each connection.

    Best,

    Alex

  • Hi Alex,
