In the previous forum questions, UCC24624 is recommended for the secondary side LLC controller compatible with UCC24660 primary side LLC controller. How two of the controller synchronize with each other?

Hi Mustafa,

The UCC24624 is a dual SR controller that uses VDS sensing to determine when to turn on/off the FET. So it tries to make sure the FET does what a diode would do independent of the controller on the primary side.

As far as I understand, there isn't any issue about the synchronization between the primary and secondary side, does it?

HI Mustafa,

Yes. There is no communication between the primary-side controller and the secondary-side SR controller.
