Tool/software:
I'm currently verifying a simulation for UCC28600 IC based converter for a 90W application. The converter designing is done with the help of excel sheet provided by the TI, but facing issue in the MOSFET model. I have chosen IPP65R099CFD7A for the application, but the model is not available in TINA TI. I added the parameters that available in the internet to a model in TINA and tried the simulation. The voltage is rising and collapsed suddenly. I tried to change the other components, but it didn't make much change in the results.
How can I verify the MOSFET model is working fine? If it's not by the mosfet, can I get some idea of what are the other possible thing that need fixing?
Thank you.
Hi Jishnu,
Thank you for reaching out.
Unfortunately we do not have any methodology to verify the MOSFET. I would suggest tuning the simulation parameters for convergence to resolve this.
