UCC28061: EMI Filter design for the PFC controller

I am using UCC28061 in my design i want to understand the EMI filter design that would be required for the best performance of the IC and EMI profile.

Can i also get suggestions on better alternatives to the IC i can use with almost same specifications but that could improve design.

Hello Amit,

I suggest to review the UCC28063 controller as a possible alternative to the UCC28061, with some improved performance. https://www.ti.com/lit/gpn/UCC28063

However, the EMI filter design does not affect the controller performance.

Hi Ulrich,

Could you please help me understand the improved performance, if i have to change the component i would need to check its availability and the cost as well define the improvement. May be you could help me improve my understanding while i go through the datasheet.
