Tool/software:
SEL designed this regulator into a product and when the product was designed, your datasheet recommended a 1uF capacitor between V7V pin to power ground. The new datasheet now recommends 10uF. We have been experiencing some field failures for this device where either Vin to power ground is shorted and/or a hole is burned in the component, or in some cases LX1 is shorted to power ground.
My question is whether this could be related to the capacitor change on the V7V pin since I cannot find any other departure in or schematic from your design recommendations.
