I would like to know the the purpose of RINJ in LMR36506MSCEVM since it is not mentioned in the LMR36506-Q1 datasheet and how its values was calculated.

Ok I just see now it is to measure the loop response as described in https://www.ti.com/lit/an/snva364a/snva364a.pdf
I still wonder what led to the choice of 50R (49.9) as opposed to 20R for example...

This is for impedance matching for an instrument that has a specified 50 ohm termination.
