Do we need the Reverse protection diode, if our VBAT=7.4V and VADP=12V

    Hello Akash,

    The reverse protection diode prevents the battery voltage from being seen on the input. This diode also prevents the battery from sending current to a load on VIN. I'd recommend installing the diode, but your application may not need it.

    Just to make sure, VADP refers to your adapter voltage right?
