The two documents mentioned above do not match the latest Digital Fusion Software that I downloaded. I have been able to make changes but that is by pressing enough buttons to get what I wanted. It would be ideal if there is some documentation that:

(1) Matches the latest Digital Fusion Software.

(2) Walks you through simple steps of configuring a new system or modifying it.

There are some changes on the Fusion GUI

the older GUI used to be device centric but the new GUI is system-centric.

but once you get into the device GUI level from system, the setting are very similar

We do not have a new doc for the new GUI at this moment.

I started a new design for 1.0VDC and 0.9VDC. The voltage at the output is 2.00VDc and 2.25VDC. The GUI says it is programmed for 1.0VDC and 0.9VDC and the monitor reflects that but the actual voltage is different. Where should I look in the configure to check my mistake. Thanks Anand

I did not set that parameter, the software did it. The schematic has straight feedback with no divider . How do I share the files?

If you use Fusion GUI, click on "File menu -> Save Project As" to save as .xml file. Then insert the file in this thread.

You voltages measured at the output is 2V and 2.25V, yet your voltage setting is 0.9V and 1V and VOUT_MAX is limited to 1.6V. Please refer to UCD9224 System Controller document of how to adjust output voltage (page 15) and set voltage divider properly (page 17, Voltage Sense Filtering).

I thought when I configure and go to design section the software takes care of all the design aspects like size of the capacitors, resistors and compensation etc.

Am I missing something?

Hi, Anand,

GUI calculates based on users' inputs. The "Nominal Voltage" input is 0.9V where measurement is 2V. Please refer to "Using UCD92XX Point Of Load Controller" for more detail. Section 6.3 (Design -> Device Synchronization) in the document states that GUI does not update vout_cal_offset and vout_cal_monitor. These registers should be adjusted when perform vout calibration.

How do I set the device calibration? The Tools menu does not show Calibrate Device command.

These are the steps I am taking:

Configure Device: I set the desired voltages.

Design: I add the same voltages there and let the GUI handle all that along with the schematics etc.

I am missing something, and I don't know what that is.

So, what is the process for resetting gain/scaling etc. after doing the design on Fusion GUI.

I manually changed the scaling for Vin and Vout and this one seems to work fine now. I can get the desired Vout now. I will tweak some more and update.
