Iout/Ilimit=0.7A

I_fastrip= 1A

What is the Cout capacitance to be used in design?

Hi Vidhya,

In power designs, Standard recommendation for Cout is 1uF per 1W of load.

You can use in the range from 33uF to 47uF

ok Rakesh. I will check in separate thread.

There are recommendations as 10:1 cin:cout for load switches.

Cout= 1uF for every 1W Output power/ load power applies to TPS26601 Load switch?? Kindly confirm.

Cin can be as small as 0.1uF for TPS26601

Cout can be from 0.1uF to mF range based on the transient support needs of the load. There is no Cin:Cout ratio dependency for TPS26601
