TPS23861: Separate power supplies to digital and analog portion

Part Number: TPS23861
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMR36500

Tool/software:

Hi,

In my design, I have two isolated supplies:

1. 13V 10W

2. 48V 18W

And I plan to connect digital portion of TPS23861 to 3.3V derived from 13V and analog portion of TPS23861 to 48V directly and keep DGND and AGND separate, this is because my MCU/MPU is on 13V domain and I want I2C connection between PSE and MCU/MPU, if I derive 3.3V from 48V then I need to add additional I2C buffers / isolators in between.  In datasheet, all references and parameters are derived assuming VAGND = VDGND, so I have few questions on this regard:

1. In datasheet, I see isolation between digital and analog portions, is this galvanic isolation?

2. The scheme that I mentioned above can it be followed?  If so, is there any additional consideration that needs to be taken in hardware?

Regards,

Harsha
