Hi team,

My customer is evaluating TPS1HB08-Q1 in their project and they have below questions. Could you please help give some comments?

The customer does not connect all Vout pin of TPS1HB08-Q1 together, only Pin6, 7 and 8. Is there a risk in this way? 

The customer's actual load current is 1-2A, with a maximum load of 6A. May I know what is the maximum current that the Vout can withstand on each pin?

    Ivy,

    Not connecting all of the pins would decrease the current capability of the device and we would not be guaranteed to support the full current rating of the device. These pins are connected via bondwires to relevant sections of the FET. When we rate the maximum current, it is with current flowing through all these bondwires. If not all the bondwires are used, more current will be going though less bondwires and the overall current capabilities could not be guaranteed at the customer's load currents.
