TPS2124: Switchover issue, no hysteresis.

Part Number: TPS2124

Tool/software:

We are using an TPS2124 to switch between two 12V power sources. IN1 is the main power source and should normally be used. IN2 is a backup power source that should only be used in IN1 drops off or is forced by SEL pin.

We see an issue in the switchover situation when IN1 drops below 10V and the device should switch over to IN2. When the IN1 has its load removed it bounce up slightly and the device switches back to it without any hysteresis. This repeats either to a brown out of the system or the IN1 drops below threshold even without a load. There do not appear to be any hysteresis preventing rapid switching between inputs.

Any ideas how to resolve this? Adjusting voltage levels and or resistor values?

In OSC pictures:

CH1:OUT

CH2:IN2

CH3 IN1

CH4: ST

In one screenshot it switches 12 times before settling on IN2 as source. In the other picture it switches until brown out of system.
