Dear Experts,

I have a question regarding the nPWRON/ENABLE signal of TPS65941515-Q1.

When using this device the standard configuration in my understanding is set to Enable.

Which means it will become a voltage level triggered device.

Is there any further information on the default Voltage thresholds that triggers the Power up an Power down sequence for TPS65941515-Q1 device ?

Hi Alex,

Referring to User's guide ENABLE pin will start-up or shutdown device based on voltage on that pin.

ENABLE pin voltage is interpreted logic high when it is more than 1.26V and logic low when it is less than 0.54V.

HI Jari,
Probably my description here was a bit unclear.

This is mentioned in the datasheet. I was rather looking for the in between voltage.

If there is fore example 0.8 is it in undefined state ?
My first assumption was that this is related to hysteresis.

However, hysteresis is mentioned to be 0.15 V.

Which then leaves a quiet big voltage range open without definition.

Hi Alex,

In typical silicon, typical voltage and temperature voltage is in the middle. But to make sure it is high or low voltage hos to be higher than Vih or lover than Vil.

Hysteresis for voltage in the middle is 150mV so there has to be quite noisy signal to not defined as high or low or switching in between.

I'm not sure what you are after this big open range but expectation for ENABLE signal it is either high or low not in between Vih and Vil.
