Hi TI expert,

We didn’t see OCP behavior waveform been shown in datasheet.

In general, we can see VOUT drop to 0V once OCP trigger, right?

However, TPS62813 not drop to 0.

Could you help us to confirm TPS62813 OCP behavior whether abnormal?

What part number exactly are you using? Does the Part number has foldback current limit on?

Base on below table ,I think no foldback current limit.

Hello Willian,

The output will not not go to zero voltage ideally because the device is still continuously switching in peak current limit protection.Iinstead it will only reduces to a a lower level unless the load current is too high (or Rload is too low) that the output voltage will be just in tenths of millivolts (Iout x RLOAD).

Based on the waveform above, the measured minimum voltage is 439.3mV.

It's higher than you mentioned.

Could you please help check if it is okay?

It seems fine. It reduces the level depending upon how much high current than current limit is there.
