TPS2662: Query regarding review of layout

Hello, 

We are using TPS26625DRCT IC in one of our designs, I have attached its schematic circuit image and PCB file in which the required IC is having designators U28 and U29.Can you please review the attached layout if it is correct as per guidelines.

    Hello Nitesh,

    Don't connect RTN pin to GND pin. 

    connect system ground to GND pin. 

    dVdT cap you can use based on output cap. you can get the values from design calculator.

    Thanks for the design review and response, as currently we have connected RTN pin to GND, what will be its effect? As per the datasheet, it will disable the reverse polarity protection and gets damaged when operated under reverse polarity event. 

    Is this the only effect or will it affect some other functionality?

    As per my understanding in this case reverse polarity is when input voltage is applied to OUT pin, can you please let me know if my assumption is correct? Also what if we do not want to use reverse polarity protection?

    Also, could you please review the layout as well.

    Hi Nitesh,

    Yeah, correct. There will be no reverse polarity protection.

    Can you send the layout files in form of a pdf?
