LMQ66410: SYNC PIN not used. What to do ?

Hi,

I have selected the LMQ66410MC3RXBRQ1 for a design. I like the fix frequency, but I don't need to sync the switching frequency. What should I do with the Mode/Sync pin ?

Hi Josh,

You can set the MODE/SYNC pin high for FPWM operation or connect it to GND for PFM operation. Both will operate the device at the factory switching frequency. Please see section 7.3.2.1 of the datasheet for more details on this. Please keep in mind too that the max rating of the MODE/SYNC pin is 5.5 V.
