Tool/software:

Customer is looking for a LDO to meet below condition and >28V rating for FuSa SIL3 motor drive power

Condition: 5.5Vin to 5.0Vout/2A or 3A ; Since it's for safety power, the input voltage derating has to be > 28Vin. 

Could you help to suggest a suited one! Very thanks.

    Hi Brian,

    I think LM1084 would be a good fit here since it is both adjustable and has a fixed 5Vout version and can handle up to 29Vin and 5.5A Iout.
