Tool/software:
Hi,
I'm trying to find a proper part number for the regulator on the PCB.
So far, I think it could be a LM2936HVMA-5.0 or LM2936HVBMA-5.0
... I didn't find naming rules, so I don't know what "B" means. I'll be glad for any help. Thank you.
Hi Prakash, I think that as well. But still, does anyone know what BM vs M stands for?
Vaclav,
I believe it's related to the Shutdown pin as per the PDS.
BM has shutdown option and M doesn't.
Regards,
Prakash L
I know about this, but that is 2936BM, not 2936H. We can agree that a naming manual would be useful.
Vaclav,
This is an old device. Based on PDS, this is what I could figure out for the 5V options.
LM2936BM-5.0/NOPB - SOIC small reel with Shutdown current and operating voltage of 40V.
LM2936BMX-5.0/NOPB - SOIC large reel with Shutdown current and operating voltage of 40V.
LM2936HVBMA-5.0/NOPB - SOIC small reel with Shutdown current and operating voltage of 60V.
LM2936HVBMAX5.0/NOPB - SOIC large reel with Shutdown current and operating voltage of 60V.
LM2936HVMA-5.0/NOPB - SOIC small reel without Shutdown current and operating voltage of 60V.
LM2936HVMAX-5.0/NOPB - SOIC large reel without Shutdown current and operating voltage of 60V.
Hope this helps clarify the naming.
Thanks,
Prakash L
