UCC25660: LCC Controller with Secondary Current Feedback

Part Number: UCC25660
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UCC25600

Tool/software:

Hi Team,

Do we have LCC controller with secondary current feedback? Thanks.

BRs,

Francis

  • Hello,

Your inquiry is under review and I will get back to you shortly.

  • Hello,

Currently we have the UCC25640x devices and the UCC25660x devices that use hysteretic current mode control based on primary sensing.   TI also has an LLC controller that is designed for voltage mode control the UCC25600.  We do not have any analog power supply controllers designed for secondary current feedback.

Are you trying to do constant current/constant voltage mode control for battery charging?

    Regards,

  • Hi Mike,

Application is Laser Power, it needs constant current output.

Could you please help explain it more detailed? Thanks in advance.

  • Hello,

There are not any application notes or reference design with just current output control using the UCC25660x or any LLC controller; as far as, I know.

The following link will bring you to the reference design library.  You can search it to see if there is anything close to your application you can use.  You just need to enter your input and output power requirements and hit search.

You might be able to get a constant current, constant voltage feedback to work for your application.  The attached application note discusses how to implement this design technique.
