Hi E2E,

It is possible to acquire a non-password protected version of the Quick Start Component Calculator for the LM5118(snvu065a)?

I'm curious how the excel sheet calculate some of the equation, as the datasheet is not always clear.

    sorry we can not provide a none protected version of the calculator.

    I may can share more details if you let me know which equations are not clear.

    Hi Stefan,

    I'm sad to hear that you are unable to provide a none protected version.

    The equations that im interested in is minimum bootstrap capacitor calculation. 


    Further more, equation 39(DCGain_mod) specifies a R_s. However, I cant seem to find the definition of this variable. 

    I hope you can help clarify this.

    Hi Soren,

    here we go:

    1.

    It is calculated to have less then 5% drop of the Voltage

    =  [High-side MOSFET Qg at VGS=10V (nC)]     /5%*  Vcc )

    2.

    Rs is the sense resistor value (also R_Sense used)
