TPS562201: Supply current test condition

Part Number: TPS562201

Tool/software:

Could you help to explain what VFB=0.9V means?

Because the internal FB voltage is nearly 0.77V, so it is 0.9V external DC source connected to FB PIN?

  • Hi Fabio,

External 0.9V on FB pin can make device "non-switching". Thanks.

  • The customer is testing the leakage current. The connected three group source VIN-GND 12V,VEN-GND 5V,VFB-GND 0.9V

Then connect an ammeter to the VIN terminal and test the leakage current; Discovered abnormal power supply current exceeding the upper limit of the standard range.

    is there guidance for this?

  • Hi Fabio,

This device has a redbull version recently. The old spec is below:

So could you please check with customer if this is non-redbull device?

    Thanks.
