The standard industrial version for this part is showing significant lead time. The TPS79733-Q1 has much better availability. Its output is limited to 10mA, where the standard version can drive 50mA.

Hello Peter,
You are likely correct on all accounts but I am not free to recommend using a part outside its specifications. Have you looked at the TPS7A4001? This is a very robust newer part. Its voltage rating is much higher than you likely need but TI will be releasing 50V and I think 24V versions by the end of the year (TPS7A4101 and TPS7A4201, respectively).

Bill
Thanks Bill,
That was my suspicion. I failed to mention that the SC70 pkg and Power Good (PG) output are important here as well. This really limits the field of available solutions.
Peter
Hi Peter,
I can't offer a part in the SC70 package. the only other part that I can think of is the LM9076.
