UC3843 but with soft start option

Is there a device very similar or identical to the UC3843 but has soft start circuitry included?

    Calum,

    I did a parametric search and tried to match all of the features of the UC3843 and I came up with the UCC38C43 (a line of parts was developed to be pin2pin compatible with the UC384x line).

    The datasheet has a note about using soft-start with the UCC38C42, though, and I am only guessing the soft-start applies for all of the parts including the UCC38C43.

    Maybe someone else will be able to verify the assumption that the soft-start feature applies to the whole family of parts.

    The UCC28C4x and UCC38C4x devices are the BiCMOS versions of the well-known bipolar UC284x and UC384x devices.  The soft start circuit shown in Figure 1 of the data sheet can successfully be applied to all memebers of the family.
