I’ve designed a 4-layer board using BQ25895 (charger), BQ27441 (fuel gauge), and TPS62A03D (buck converter).

L1 - Signal, L2 - GND, L3 - PWR, L4 - Signal + GND

I’ve attached the schematic and layout images for review.

Could you please review my design and let me know if you notice any issues or areas for improvement before I proceed to prototyping?

Hi,

The schematics look good and seem to follow the checklist, although the I2C Pull up resistors don't seem to be included. The layout also looks good. I recommend reviewing both guidelines for another review.

Hi Juan Ospina,

Thank you very much.

I2C pullups are present near the MCU pins, which are not included in the PDF. I have used 10K res pullups tied to 3v3.

Also, one more thing, I have a single continuous ground plane at L2. There is no ground split like AGND or PGND. Is it okay?

Hi,

10K pull ups to 3.3V should be fine.

I am unable to identify the AGND or PGND plane in the layout. Best practice is to separate AGND and PGND and connect them via a single ground point connection.
