PFC syncing with downstream dc converter

Harrison,

What control IC are you usig for the PFC controller and are you trying to sync a primary side controller with a secondary side controller?

Most of the ICs can be synced in the same way you would sync any other power IC by pulsing the ramp voltage but some ICs require more, such as the UCC28517 . The synchronization for that IC is covered by the article below.

I knew the ramp way, but what I heard is TI has something in the firmware together with hardware doing the snycing.
