Hi

I am using the TPS65186 for power management IC in our system. But I have few questions for this IC.

1. What is the measurement timing when measure kick-back voltage of the panel in the TPS65186?

2. How to calculate kick-back voltage in the TPS65186?

    Hi Tai-Chuan, 

    1. From the end of the I2C command that enables the measurement to the interrupt signalling the conversion is done is 10ms per acquisition. So a single read would take 10ms, and 8 reads would take 80ms. Page 13 of the datasheet shows the timing characteristics. 

    2. The value of VCOM is stored in the VCOM1 and VCOM2 registers at addreses 0x03 and 0x04. Each code increment is 10mV and the corresponding code to voltage is shown on page 29 of the datasheet.  Page 19 and 20 of the datasheet also give more detail on the VCOM kick back operation.
