Questions about using the PTH08T240F

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMS320C6474, TL7712A, TPS3808

Hi all,
Now we want to use TI's PTH08T240FAS to power the TMS320C6474 and I have some questions about the PTH08T240FAS, as follows:
In the "TERMINAL FUNCTIONS" section of PTH08T240FAS's datasheet, it says that this module's output will follow an external voltage at its Track pin (Pin 10) when using the module's auto-track function, and figure 31 gives an example of that. And my question is:

WHY THERE IS NO EXTERNAL PULL-UP RESISTOR IN THE "RESET#" PIN OF TL7712A IN FIGURE 31?

If we don't use an external pull-up resistor, how can the module follow an external voltage at the track pin?

In TI's "slta057" and "slta058", there is also no external pull-up resistor in the "reset#" pin of TPS3808G18. (And by the way, we now want to use the

method in the "slta058" for our design to power TMS320C6474.)

I'm looking forward to your reply.
    Thank you very much.

Regards,

Xingjian

    1. The track pin has its own internal , pull-up voltage to 6.2V maximum. The SVS RESET #  does not require any external pull-up resistor as the auto-track function is pulled up to 6.2V internally  when using an SVS. The TPS3808 is an open drain reset* pin.
