I have an Query regarding the following part number: TPS84621

1. It has an over current protection method of Hiccup mode, when the converter output current reaches 11A, it enters into Hiccup mode, What is the Hiccup mode ON time and OFF time duration.

2.Kindly provide detailed timing diagram for TPS84621 hiccup mode.

The hiccup mode of operation is shown in figures 33 & 34 of the datasheet. See the attached datasheet page.

I have seen the Hiccup mode duration characteristics in the datasheet.

1) The Hiccup mode ON time period is nearly 2ms and OFF time is nearly 30msec, The OFF Time includes soft start time or not?.

2) What is the relation between the Hiccup mode OFF duration and soft start duration?.

3) After over current fault condition the soft start delayed power ON will occur or not?

During an over current condition the output voltage will shutdown. Following shutdown the output attempts to recover by iniating a soft-start power up. The device continues this cycle until the load fault is removed.

What is the Hiccupmode ON time and OFF time duration regardless of the Soft start duration

The hiccup mode timing is 512 cycles ON, 16384 cycles OFF. The device goes through SS on every restart.
