Please answer following question from customer.
Customer’s TPS5420 input and output voltage and circuit is follows.
Input Voltage: 24V
Output Voltage: 9V
Output Inductor:68uH
Output Capacitor: 10uF(Ceramic) x 5
According to the datasheet (P15, Circuit Using Ceramic Output Filter Capacitors), TPS5420 needs C4,C7,R3 and C6 (Figure 13) for compensation, but customer’s board does not have pattern for C7 and R3. And board has pattern for C4 andC6.
Please advice if the stable compensation is possible with C4 and/or C6.
