Hi,

Does someone know the output voltage range for the LM5000EVAL for a given input voltage range?

What is the max adjustable output voltage (and at what conditions)?

The features for the LM5000EVAL state

  • Operating input voltage range of 3.1 V to 40 V
  • Adjustable output voltage

No actual o/p voltage range specified.

    It sees the website lost the link to the technical documents related to the LM5000EVAL.  I have asked our colleague to fix the link, and I can only answer your question after I can access to the info of the EVAL.  Will update asap.

    Again, sorry for the delay.  Eventually I find out that the info of the LM5000EVAL board is already included in the datasheet: Figure 23 and the BOM on page 17 describe the board.  

    There is a surely a mislink on the webpage of the LM5000EVAL: the feature description is regarding the LM5000 IC itself, not the board.   So, the EVAL board input votlag v range is 20-55V, Vout=3.3V fixed, and Iout max =2A.   Of course you can adjust the output voltage, but please remember to make appropriate selection of the rectifier diode and output capacitors such that they meet the required votlage rating.

    Apology for the confusion, and we are going to update the webpage.  Also thank you for getting this to our attention, which definitely helps us to improve our webpage and serve customers better.
