TPS62360 active discharge tolerance

Hi All,

Please let me ask about following question for active discharge.

Can you provide the tolerance of RDIS-CHARGE? I know that you can't guarantee it so the target spec should be OK.
Which supply voltage is referred to keep to active RDIS-CHARGE, VIN or AVIN?

Let me check if we have any data.

It is probably powered from AVIN, but I don't this matters since VIN and AVIN must be from the same supply/voltage.

Hi Chris-san,

I'm waiting for your update about tolerance of RDIS-CHARGE.

Regarding VIN and AVIN, I missed the statement that " VIN and AVIN must be connected to the same source for proper device operation." in 26 page in datasheet. The question #2 is cleared.

We do not have any data showing its variation. Is there a specific concern with its value?

Hi Chris-san,

Let me change a question. Please let me know the recommended maximum output capacitance to prevent damage to internal FET due to discharge current.

Thank you for your question.

There is no limit on the Cout due to the discharge. It is a resistive discharge that is robust; it is not a constant time discharge. More Cout will just mean a longer discharge time.
