LP8754 EVM operation at 5Vin

Hi Narisawa-san,
This false OVP alarm may occur in start-up, like it is stated in the datasheet note.
If customer can, they can reset the OVP flag after start-up.
Or if they can use lower input voltage in start-up and rise the voltage level to 5.0V, they should avoid this.

I understood and also customer would like to know what supply voltage is no error flag of OVP in start -up.

When hit OVP, what status is INT pin?

I'm sorry I don't have EVM so I can't check it now.(I'm ordering EVM now)

Hi Narisawa-san,

I have to check what is the supply voltage where there is no OVP flag in start-up. With the EVM I have, it was 4.8V, but it might be different from device to device. This I need to check.

When the device hits OVP, INT pin is pulled low.

Actually, I don't have their feedback yet. They have oscillation issue due to two stage filter in TPS62366,

and also LP8754 is too. But Chris -san help to me to explan this is not IC issue. Ireported that now.

After that, they may evaluate  again.
