LM5070 ON/OFF operation

IEEE standard requires MPS (maintain power signature) to keep the PSE ON after startup. I recommend adding a some load to the output that will result in at least 10mA of input current from the PSE.

Thank you for your quick reply. That is very helpfull advice.

So we should to add some load such as a resistor onto output of LM5070 to keep the input current.
Is my understanding correct?

Hamamoto-san,
You can increase output load of the converter until you get enough input current to keep the PSE on. Or you can add a resistive load between VIN and RTN to get 10mA+ of input current to keep the PSE on.

Please let me ask one thing what I am wondering.

   Can the load be added to output of secondary side as well?

   Is there any concerns if it is possible?

Our customer understand about your comment. However there is no any space to put the load resistance at the primary side.
