I made a buck with TPS40170.
input voltage specification is from 22 V to 25 V and output 12 V 4~6 A.
it almost same of TI EV BOARD TPS40170EVM-578 . But I first made 2 layer small size connected type .
i attached file first sheet design. picture and scope operate normal. but high temperate 60 degree.
second sheet 4layer one board insert power part .but problem and every board power on dead TPS40170.
The problem is TPS40170 is break down when switch on. there is no output load. or use load..
Break down component is TPS40170 LDRV PIN . or HDRV PIN .
i have 8 board same broken.
is there TPS40140_START_Problem .xlsany solution? advise please. where do i look or how do i debug it?
