TPS2115 Current draw issue

I have a current consumption problem with the TPS2115. It draws 400uA from IN1 while it draw only 40uA from IN2 as expected.

I’m using the TPS211xEVAL configured on Auto switch, I plug a power supply with 3.6V to IN1 and measure the current out of the power supply (400uA).

When I repeat the test and connect the power supply to IN2 (with no voltage on IN1) I measure only 40uA as describe in the data sheet.

Please advise. (see pictures)

In your picture, only J3 shunt is installed (D1=0 and D0=1). On the EVM there is a 10k resistor (R1) connected between OUT and STAT. So when VIN1>VIN2 then VOUT=VIN1 and STAT will draw ~400uA from IN1 when VIN1=4V. For the other condition (VIN2>VIN1), STAT will not draw current from OUT through the 10k resistor.

Does this make sense?
