LED Driver 100W???

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM3444

Hi all, Please advise me the Ti LED controller.

I have Vin MAX 100V. my LED is 42V max and 2.5A

Thank you.

Andrew.

  • Hello,

It would be helpful to get more information on this:
Does it need to be isolated?
    Is this a second stage?
Vin MAX 100V, what is the source, AC, DC, does it need power factor correction?
    Does it need to dim?
Does it need any control interface, if so is it isolated or referenced to?
    Maximum LED current ripple?
    Any other requirements not mentioned?

    Thanks
  • Hello,
    not isolated,
    Vin 60-100C DC,
    not DIM,
    not Interface.
    LED - CXA3050-0000-000N0HW440F.

I want to find at TI similar on LT3756.

    Thanks.
  • Hello,

I would look at the LM3444.  It is simple and does not require many external components.  It will require a pre-regulator (resistor, zener and MOSFET/Transistor) for its input due to being a low voltage process.  It is hysteretic so high bandwidth and no compensation needed.

Not sure the other part you mentioned will run continuous at 100 volts input.

    Thanks,
