LP5524 / CTRL input current at 5V

Hi

I'd like to expect the CTRL input current at ENA and ENB = 5V. I guess that ENA and ENB has internal pull down resistor and the input current should almost flow through the resistor, so the pull down resistor value should be around 1Mohm (1.2V/1.2uA=1Mohm). Then I guess that it should be approx. 5uA at ENA and ENB = 5V. Is my understanding correct?

I understand that you can't guarantee it and it should be just reference.

  • Hi Sonoki-san,

Your understanding is correct. There is a ~ 1 Mohm pull-down resistor in the ENx inputs.  You can also estimate the maximum input current with 5V to be: 5V/(1.2V/1.9uA) = 7.9uA.
