Hello,

Peak out power LM3281 can deliver is 1200mA at 3.3V = 3.96W. Please note that this is peak power and due to small 6 bump DSBGA package reliability concerns, one needs to know end system lifetime usage scenarios to see if LM3281 is the right fit for the application. There are two tables on page 11 of the data sheet that provide examples of usage scenarios.

With peak power of 3.96W (1200mA at 3.3V) and 89% efficiency, input current from a 3.8V input will be about 1.17A.
